Hello and welcome to beautiful Anniversary Idea Blog.

What is a good first anniversary gift idea?

What is a good first anniversary gift idea for a man? I love my husband with all of my heart but we have pretty much everything. I want to give him something meaningful not just junk. Any ideas?

How about something that is useful - not junk - but can be personalized with a special message about how much you love him?

Here is a link to a site with lots of unique gifts - and most they will embroider or engrave with a message you specify. THey have things like watches, cufflinks, icebuckets, barware, robes, blankets, wallets, wooden plaques and more. They even have underwear for men & women that they will personalize.

Check it out - maybe you’ll get some ideas.

First year anniversary is suppose to be a paper gift I believe. How about a nice hand written poem about the two of you. Explain how you met, things you have experienced together, your hopes dreams etc. Then place in a nice frame and hang it up for everyone to witness. I’m certain it would mean more than if you spent a million bucks on him as it would be so personal. We just celebrated our first a couple of months ago and went to a nice hotel for a couple of days, took in some theatre, had a couple of nice meals and just overall enjoyed each others company. Congrats and best of luck.

The first anniversary is still about love and romance. Give him you, any way he wants it, with a big bow on top!!

I have a journal I started on our honeymoon. I wrote about our wedding day and honeymoon, then every year I wrote a page about what we did for our anniversaries. I plan on giving it to him on our 20th anniversary. We are at 16 years now.
You can do something like that and add pictures or items. I know it’s hard to remember the day a year later. And then tell him you will add to it every year on your anniversary.

Ask him which photo from your wedding he likes most and have a custom painting from it. Anything meaningful for him that can be remembered forever! I suggested this site for a friend of mine (he wanted to give his wife a special gift) and he was very excited about it. The website is http://www.paintyourlife.com/galleries/wedding-portraits.asp Of course there are plenty ideas to do, like a portrait when he was a child… the possibilities are endless!

I got my partner a locket and I also got one for myself. I put a picture of me in their locket and a picuture of us together. In mine I put a picture of them and a picture of us together. It’s a way to always have a picture of each other close to your heart and it’s something you can look at everytime you think of them. It’s always with you.
