It's not homemade in the sense that you're making something, but it sure is free and simple. Buy one of those mini pocket dictionaries and highlight all the words that are meaningful to you and your significant other. We girls love sentimental stuff like that!

If you guys have a lot of good pictures together, photo albums make nice gifts. Not as a main gift though more like a side gift. Smile Books actually has theirs on sale this week.

Do you have any pictures of you both together? If you do you could make a photo album full of photos of the both of you. Leave some room at the back though for many more picutes in the future.
